The waiting room

I have come to understand that when you are in need of a life changing, reality shifting, earth shattering miracle and have yet to see God manifest it, it’s not always because he is positioning the other side of the miracle to meet you and your desire. We serve a God that cares about every piece of our lives, and He pays great attention to detail. A lot of times He is allowing us the time we need to prepare for, and be ready to receive our miracle. Sometimes we may want something so bad but really if He gave it to us right in that moment we wouldn’t be spiritually, emotionally or even physically ready for it. In the waiting, is where He prepares us to receive what He’s going to manifest. Refining us in the fire of His will and His love, grace and goodness. He is speaking to us in so many ways, and if we pay close attention we would gain the necessary understanding to let go and let Him work in us. Much of the time He wants to move distractions away from us, and out of our view because He is wanting us alone in that time. He is wanting every single distraction extracted form our lives, minds, homes, situation and heart, so He can minister to us and show us the true love of His heart for us. When we get to that place, where we know that we know that Jesus is enough, only then are we truly ready. I left my husband a while back and it was so hard because my Husband was a promise from God. After much prayer and being alone with the Lord, I became content with being alone, and being without my husband even though God promised it to me. I was ok with raising my daughter alone for the rest of our lives because I realized that I do have a husband and His name is Jesus. I had received a beautiful vision from the Lord, where I walked down the aisle in a wedding dress and waiting at the end of the isle in a black tuxedo on the left side, with a smile full of pure love, was Jesus. He waited and accepted me to His right. He longs so much for us to just be with Him, to worship and be loved by Him.

We are the bride! Yes the church is but also every single person on the earth who wants to live for Jesus, YOU are his bride! YOU are all He desires. His heart is for you. His life was given just for YOU. Singularly! He is joint to each and every piece of the whole body of Christ.

We need to stop begging and chasing the miracle, it’s already there but it’s waiting for your mind to shift and realize that Jesus is enough. With Jesus, no matter your circumstance of what you may need He is all you really need. Just be truly content to the depths of your soul with Jesus being your only miracle. That’s how we die to ourselves, that’s living as Jesus lives. He was able to accept His fate of the cross, of no longer having life and suffering horrendous torture and circumstance in order to be what others needed and then too was resurrected all because He knew that the work of the Father was more important Then the pain. Jesus didn’t want to be tortured but he did it anyway. He knew the work of the Father was much more valuable then escaping the brunt of the cross. He went through his valley while still holding on to the Father’s promise, and came out with an unspeakably wonderful miracle of resurrection! He had to be willing to completely let go first.

That’s the same with us.

My prayer for us all is that we would choose to be willing, and completely let go of everything and everyone that may be pulling our attention away from the love that the Father wants to minister to us. For us to keep a heart of contentment, while still holding on to the promise of what the father is going to do! Let us always allow the Lord to prepare us for what He has in store, giving Him room, while we wait. Amen.

Love,

~Jess~
